“You talk about Joe Biden a lot — I understand you think you’re going to be running against him, I can see how you might get confused. But you’re running for governor,” the Democrat said.
Crist, 66, continued: “You’re running for governor. Why don’t you look in the eyes of the people of the state of Florida and say to them if you’re reelected, you will serve a full four-year term as governor?

Ron Harper, best known for his roles inLand of the LostandPlanet of the Apes, has died. He was 91.
His daughter, Nicole Longeuay, confirmed that the late actor died of natural causes in his home in West Hills, California on Thursday, perThe Hollywood Reporter.
“I know he’ll be watching over all of us, until we meet again,” she concluded.

Republican Sen. Ron Johnson has won his bid for reelection in a close race that could help determine which party ultimately controls the Senate.
Democratic Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes had hoped to unseat Johnson, who is one of the least popular GOP congressman (his favorability rating sat around 37% in June).
The two were starkly different.
Barnes, 35, is a Black native of Milwaukee with a middle-class background who was first elected to state legislature at 25 years old.

Ronald Powell, a former linebacker for the New Orleans Saints, has died. He was 32.
TheNFL Players Associationannounced Powell’s death Tuesday in a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
The cause of Powell’s death was not disclosed.

Former NFL running back Ronnie Hillman has died. He was 31.
“It is with heavy hearts that weannounce the passingof our beloved son, brother & father, Ronnie K Hillman Jr.” his family posted on Instagram Thursday.
“Ronnie quietly and peacefully transitioned today in the company of his family and close friends,” they added. “We as the family, appreciate the prayers and kind words that have already been expressed. We ask that you would give us time to process our feelings as we prepare to lay our precious RJ to rest.
