An Arizona man recently survived the unthinkable after he fell 700 feet from a mountain and lived to retell the frightening ordeal.
Zwierzynski sustained broken ribs, a broken ankle and other extreme injuries. “His eyes were swollen shut. [His] eye sockets were broken,” his wife Laurie Zwierzynski told the outlet. “His nose was broken in two places. He had two brain bleeds and a concussion,” she continued.

An Arizona police officer has died after his patrol vehicle was hit while he was passing through an intersection Sunday night.
Tucson officerAdam R. Bucknerwas responding to the call around 10 p.m. local time when his vehicle was hit while “going through the intersection on a green light at 6th Street,” according to a news release from his department.

The 2-year-old Weimaraner mix is under the care of theArizona Humane Society(AHS) after the organization rescued the dog from a car engine.
According to the shelter, on Jan. 19, AHS received a call about a stray dog stuck in a car engine in Phoenix. AHS sent its Emergency Animal Medical Technicians™ (EAMTs) to the car’s location.

A Democratic candidate for the Arizona State Senate has been killed in a suspected DUI crash in Arizona.
Police confirmed an incident took place on Friday in a post onX(formerly Twitter). “Traffic detectives are investigating a fatal collision this morning involving two vehicles at E. Broadway Blvd. & N. Ridgeside Dr. Expect delays in the area. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene,” they wrote.
