At Least 3 Victims After Active Shooter Incident on UNLV Campus, Suspect Dead: Police

Las Vegas police responded to an active shooting incident on the campus of UNLV Wednesday morning and the suspect is now dead, authorities say. Sheriff Kevin McMahill said In a post on the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s X account, Sheriff Kevin McMahill said, “Right now, we know there are 3 victims, but unknown extent of the injuries. That number could change. We will update you when we know more.”

At Least 32 Dead After Massive Fire Rips Through Karaoke Bar in Vietnam: Reports

The Cong An Nhan Dan newspaper, which works officially with the Public Security Ministry, said 17 men and 15 women were killed in Tuesday night’s fire near Ho Chi Minh City, according to theBBC.

Russiannews agency TASSreported that 40 people were killed inside Crocus City Hall near Moscow, per a statement from Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB). “According to preliminary data, as a result of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall building 40 people were killed and over 100 were injured,” the FSB statement said.

At Least 5 Dead After Tropical Storm Nicole Makes Landfall on Florida's East Coast

Aftermaking landfall in the Bahamas, Nicolearrived on Florida’s Atlantic coastearly Thursday morning as arare November hurricane, according to NBC News. After initially being a Category 1 hurricane, it was downgraded to a tropical storm. In a press conference on Thursday, Orange County mayor Jerry Demings said four people have died so far from the natural disaster.
