Atlanta Man Who Killed 'Longtime Friend' Over $35 Debt Sentenced to Life in Prison

Carter shot and killed Quinlan Parker on Jan. 28, 2022. Police responded to a call of a person shot at an Atlanta apartment and found Parker, 48, dead from a gunshot wound to his chest. Prior to Parker’s death, Carter had arrived at his apartment, where his wife and stepdaughter also were at the time.
