Heavy rain, gusty winds, and catfish? A Florida resident was in for a surprise during an intense storm.
In a video from Storyful, the man approaches a living catfish on his driveway while it is raining. A person moves to poke the fish gently, and it begins to flop away. The creature then shimmies around the wet pavement before “walking” to a deep puddle that leads towards grassy land.
“Not sure how it got here or where he’s trying to get to,” Bardach says in the clip.

TheCenters for Disease Control and Prevention has announcedthat an outbreak of Rocky Mountain spotted fever in southern California has led to three deaths.
The bacterial disease is spread through the bite of an infected tick and can cause a headache, fever and rash,according to the CDC.
Per the announcement, there have been a total of five reported cases — all patients had recently been in Tecate, Mexico.
They were diagnosed in late July and suffered from symptoms two weeks after departing Tecate, the CDC said, adding that one was an adult and four were pediatric patients under 18.
