The family ofRuth Bader Ginsburgannounced this week that a ceremony to honorElon MuskandRupert Murdochwith an award in the late Supreme Court justice’s name has been canceled.
Last week, the Dwight D. Opperman Foundation announced that “five iconic individuals” would be honored with the RBG Leadership Award in a ceremony held at the Library of Congress on April 13.

And as his first official act, he’s fired three of the social media platform’s top executives.
Insiders toldCNNthat Musk has taken over Twitter, and that CEO Parag Agrawal and two other executives were let go shortly after.
Musk’s lawyer and representatives for Twitter did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Sources toldThe Washington Postthat along with Agrawal, Twitter’s head of legal policy, trust, and safety Vijaya Gadde, and CFO Ned Segal were all taken away from the building via shuttle after they were terminated.

Elon Muskis accusing Twitter of misleading him about its business following a deal tobuy the social media platformfor $44 billion — claims which Twitter denied in a court filing.
“Twitter filed a response to Mr. Musk’s counterclaims. His claims are factually inaccurate, legally insufficient, and commercially irrelevant,” Taylorwrotein a statement. “We look forward to the trial in the Delaware Court of Chancery.”
In Twitter’s reply, which included several portions from Musk’s counterclaims, the company responded to allegations that they held back information to prevent his team from uncovering “fraud” after the April agreement.

In a Delaware court filing dated Oct. 6, Twitter asked to see communications betweenthe Tesla founder, 51, and federal agents. The papers were unsealed Thursday, according to Bloomberg.
They added, “Through counsel, he has exchanged substantive correspondence with those authorities concerning their investigations. Twitter wants those documents, because they bear upon key issues in this litigation.”
Twitter added that it had beenasking for the correspondencefor months to no avail and now wants a judge to intervene, Reuters reported.
