Country singerJohn Michael Montgomerywas in a “serious accident” Friday while driving to a concert in North Carolina.
The “I Swear” singer, 57, posted tohis official Facebook, writing that his bus had been in an accident, but everyone who had been on board was recovering from their injuries.
Entertainment Tonightreported Montgomery was a passenger on the bus traveling south in Tennessee near the Kentucky state line, when it veered off the interstate, struck an embankment and overturned.

The comedian is returning to the boards in a new play adapted from the short stories of humorist Simon Rich, with whom he previously worked with as writer onSaturday Night Live.
