The Kansas City Chiefs have announced plans to support the victims of themass shootingthatleft one woman deadand at least 23 people injured following the team’s celebratorySuper Bowl victory parade.
In a statement shared on social media Friday — just two days after the incident — the Chiefs shared that they’ve launched a emergency responsefundin partnership with United Way of Greater Kansas City.

The Kansas City Chiefs are hoping their “love story” turns into a success story this weekend when the team begins its NFL Playoff run Saturday against the Miami Dolphins in a first-round matchup.
The team began previewing this weekend’s AFC Wild Card game with a series of social media videos that describe the NFL Playoffs as a “holiday” the team’s fans can look forward to.

Lisa Lopez-Galvan, the woman who was killed duringWednesday’s mass shootingat the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade, is being remembered for her role as a dedicated mother to her two children.
On Thursday, Lopez-Galvan’s brother Beto Lopez paid tribute to his sister as he told CNN’s Anderson Cooper she was, “a very loving, caring, and devoted mother.”
“We have tragic situations like this one that occur unfortunately way too often and a lot of time individuals get lost as just statistics or numbers,” Lopez said.

Kanye West’s nearly-4,000 acre ranch in Wyoming is no longer on the market.
In early August, the rapper, 45, pulled back the reins on the sale of his massive ranch near Cody, one of two that he owns in the state, according to theNew York Post.
The property, also known as West Lake Ranch and “Yeezy Campus,” wasput on the market last October for $11 million.
