King Charlesis celebrating his birthday with a new role.
Charles, who turns 74 on Monday, has officially taken over a title and post from his late fatherPrince Philipas he becomes the Park Ranger of Windsor Great Park.
To mark the new role (and his first birthday as King!), Charles was photographed in the glowing autumnal light of an ancient oak in the park.

King Charlesdidn’t leave Australia empty handed.
The King is on a royal tour of both Australia and Samoa this week with wifeQueen Camilla— his first tour of a Commonwealth realm since taking the throne in September 2022, and the first tour of this size and scope since announcing earlier this year he had beendiagnosed with cancer.

King Charlesis speaking out ahead of his motherQueen Elizabeth’s funeral on Monday.
In a statement on Sunday evening, the new monarch thanked those who have shared in the grief following the loss of the late monarch and matriarch.

The King, 74, spoke about the prophetic speechQueen Elizabethmade in South Africa 75 years ago during the state banquet at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday. The diplomatic dinner was held in honor of Cyril Ramaphosa, president of South Africa, who is spending three days in the U.K. onthe first state visitof Charles' reign.

King Charlesis seeking treatment for an enlarged prostate.
“In common with thousands of men each year, The King has sought treatment for an enlarged prostate,” Buckingham Palace announced in a statement on Wednesday. “His Majesty’s condition is benign, and he will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure.”
They added, “The King’s public engagements will be postponed for a short period of recuperation.
