A Massachusetts man is using his lottery winnings to honor someone special in his life — his dog!
Paul Riley of Peabody, Massachusetts, won $4 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery, and when he went to claim his prize on Jan. 16, he brought his dog Raven along.
He also let the pup photobomb the picture he snapped with his lottery check.

A dog owner in Massachusetts is in “shock” after police say an animal control officer shot and killed his husky puppy after mistaking it for a coyote.
On Tuesday, Nov. 19, around 11:30 a.m. local time, the Northbridge Police Department responded after getting a call about a neighbor spotting a coyote in her backyard, Police Chief Tim Labrie said, per multiple outlets, includingThe Milford Daily Newsand Boston CBS affiliateWBZ.

A Massachusetts town is closing its public parks and fields at night due to their “high risk status” forEastern equine encephalitis (EEE), amosquito-bourneillness that can be fatal.
According to the town statement, there have also been EEE-infected mosquitoes previously identified in Plymouth County (Halifax and Kingston), Barnstable County (Barnstable), and in Essex County (Amesbury and Haverhill).
