The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department previously said Comanche, 27, and Sakari Harnden, 19, were suspected of killing Marayna Rodgers, who had been reported missing on Dec. 7.
Comanche, who played for the Stockton Kings, the G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, was arrested Dec. 15 in Sacramento, the police department said.

The NBA Player’s Association said they are in contact with the family of Kyle Singler after the former Detroit Pistons player posted a concerning video on social media.
Singler, 36, said he has been “mistreated and abused” in anInstagram videoon Tuesday, Nov. 12.
In a statement to theAssociated Pressthe following day, NBPA spokesman Sarah Houseknecht said, “We are in contact with Kyle’s family.

Tony Brown, a veteran NBA referee who ran down the court with some of the best players of the last 20 years, has died of pancreatic cancer at 55.
Brown died on Thursday, the NBAannounced. In a statement, NBA commissioner Adam Silver called Brown “one of the most accomplished referees in the NBA and an inspiration to his colleagues.”
“After his pancreatic cancer diagnosis early last year, Tony fought courageously through countless rounds of treatment to return to work this past season at the NBA Replay Center, demonstrating the dedication, determination and passion that made him such a highly respected official for 20 years,” Silver said.

Los Angeles Clippers point guard John Wall said he dealt with suicidal thoughts over the last two years as he fought to remain in theNBA.
Opening up in an interview with the Salvation Army and shared toTwitterMonday, the 31-year-old athlete said that the last two years were the “darkest place I’ve ever been in.
“At one point in time I thought about committing suicide,” he added.
The Clippers' new point guard listed a number of difficult life events, dating back to the 2018-2019 NBA season, when Achilles tendon injuries limited him to just 32 games with the Washington Wizards and kept him entirely out of the 2019-2020 season as well, according toBleacher Report.
