Kody noted that there’s been a “struggle in communication” and “struggle with criticism” all around. He described being in a “constant little civil war” and sensing a “constant psychic tension” with Christine, Janelle, Meri and their kids.
“Well, I did my best,” she said of her efforts in their plural marriage.

Meri Brownis continuing to shed light on the demise of her longtime marriage toKody Brown.
In conversation with best friend Jenn Sullivan and her husband, Meri, who was preoccupied painting the interior of her bed and breakfast, revealed that Kody “asked me over the years to do a lot of things.”
“He’s like, ‘Can you do this? And then, we can work on a relationship,” Meri, 53, recalled.
