A 41-year-old Texas man remains unaccounted for more than three months after he disappeared.
The Pecos County Sheriff’s Office has beenlooking for Justin Urrutiasince November 2023.
“It’s a true mystery,” Pecos County Sheriff TJ Perkins toldCBS affiliate KHOUon Tuesday. “We don’t know what happened to him.”

A mother in Tomball, Texas, allegedly confessed to killing her 5-year-old, telling authorities her daughter was an “evil child.”
On Monday, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzaleztweetedan arrest update, identifying the suspect as 37-year-old Melissa White Towne. Towne was charged with capital murder and was booked into the Harris County Jail, Gonzalezwrote.
Towne’s bond has been set at $15 million,ABC 13 reported.
“She said she wanted to dispose of the complainant, so she decided to take her to a hospital.

The Houston Police Department (HPD) was dispatched to 4822 Grasilla Drive around 10:17 p.m. on Christmas Day. Upon entering the home, officers found a man who appeared to have murdered his wife before killing himself, police said, according to the outlets.

On Monday, Daniel Chacon, 30, fled following the alleged kidnapping of 38-year-old mom of four, Maira Gutierrez, Pasadena Police Chief Josh Bruegger said during a press conference.
According to Bruegger, Gutierrez was visiting the couple’s 5-month-old son at Chacon’s Pasadena, Tex., apartment when the incident began.
Witnesses told police they saw Chacon “dragging a female into a vehicle” with a gun in his hand.
Chacon has an active warrant out for his arrest.
