Former NBA forward Charlie Villanueva is “happy to be alive” following an alleged hit-and-run car accident.

The 39-year-old, who played in the NBA for over a decade on various teams before retiring at theend of the 2016 basketball season, told his followers he had a sore neck, sore back and a “messed up car” but he and his wife Lisette “Lala” Villanueva, whom he jointly posted with, were “thankful to see another day.

Ex-NFL Player Antonio Dennard is dead at 32.
Dennard was shot early Sunday morning in the parking lot of Legends Bar and Restaurant in Muhlenberg Township, just outside of Reading, Pennsylvania.

Officials have ruled his death a homicide and police are currently investigating.
Dennard played college football at Langston University in Oklahoma before moving on to the NFL. Over the course of his career, he was signed to the practice squads of three NFL teams — the New York Giants, the Green Bay Packers and the Jacksonville Jaguars — as a cornerback.

In the footage, Owens — who previously played for teams including the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys — is seen fighting with a shirtless man outside of the store on Saturday night. At one point, Owens knocked the man to the ground with a punch to the face.
Witnesses told TMZ that Owens attempted to quell the situation before the man attacked him once they left the store.

Former NFL running back Eddie Lacy was arrested late Monday night on four DUI charges – including an extreme DUI charge – and possessing an open container inside the vehicle, police in Arizona say.
In the state, anextreme DUI charge– for a Blood Alcohol Concentration of at least .15% – is a misdemeanor.
Lacy was arrested around 10:40 p.m., Monday, Sept. 30, after a caller dialed 911 trying “to locate a possible impaired driver,” and provided a description of the vehicle, according to police.
