Vontae Davis, a former NFL star who retired in 2018, has died. He was 35.
The retired football pro was found dead in Southwest Ranches, Florida on Monday morning, the Davie Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE.
“Preliminary information suggests that foul play is not involved,” the statement reads. “The investigation remains ACTIVE.”

Both women signed plea agreements to the four second-degree felonies in December, acknowledging their roles in the abuse and relinquishing their right to appeal their convictions.

A grand jury has indicted a man accused of killing ateenage boywhose remains were found burned and dismembered in an Arizona forest last summer, prosecutors announced.
Anthonie Ruinard Jr., 38, has beenindictedon charges of second-degree murder and abandonment or concealment of a dead body in connection with the death of 18-year-old Parker League, Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell said in an April 5press release.
It’s unclear if Ruinard has entered a plea or retained an attorney to speak on his behalf.

Alyson Cranick, 42, was previously arrested on back-to-back days on Nov. 14 and 15 in separate jurisdictions and was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault and three counts of risk of injury to a minor in Tolland County and the same charges with one fewer count of risk of injury to a minor in New London County, Connecticut State Police say.
